Gather the Tools: You'll need a flexible measuring tape. If you don't have one, use a string and a ruler.
Measure Your Head: Place the measuring tape about 1/8 inch above your ear, across the mid-forehead, completely circling your head. Hold the tape firmly but not too tight.
Find Your Size: Note the measurement in inches or centimeters.

Check the Fit: The hat should feel snug but comfortable.
It should sit level across your forehead and above your ears.
